
Edwin Campbell, Practice Leader, Electronic Design Automation:
Edwin Campbell is Practice Leader, Electronic Design Automation (EDA). He is based in San Francisco, CA and also leads Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) consulting.
Mr. Campbell was System Architect and Director of Business Development for Precience, Inc. He previously held senior management positions at Mentor Graphics Corporation, Nortel Networks and Apple Computer where he architected both EDA tools and design environments.
Passionate about EDA, he was elected to the panel of judges at the 2001 DAC Design Awards. He negotiated the first "Pay-per-Use" licensing model in 1998 and also defined and deployed the first system-level constraint management tool in Java in 2000. In 2002, he was a member of the NEMI / NIST Technical Working Group on “Product Lifecycle Information Management” in the areas of Design, Manufacture and Supply Chain.
Mr. Campbell has a degree in Electronic Engineering.
